Easy-to-miss quests in Elwynn Forest, WoW: Forever
Elwynn Forest hides 2 of its quests on the dead: a half-eaten body on a riverbank and Rolf's corpse in a murloc village. Most of the zone finds you on its own, because each finished quest points to the next giver, so its gaps are quests that start from something lying in the world, or from a person who offers nothing else. The Elwynn Forest guide page lists all 44 quests in our data; 36 count for every Alliance character, and the other 8 are class quests.
Quests that start without a quest giver
The Collector (Alliance, level 7) starts from an item, the Gold Pickup Schedule, which Gruff Swiftbite drops. It opens a chain of 2 steps, so loot him even if you are only passing through.
Wanted: "Hogger" (level 5) starts from the wanted poster at Westbrook Garrison. It is an elite quest, so plan a group for it rather than skipping it.- Discover Rolf's Fate (level 7) starts from the half-eaten body on the riverbank north of the east bridge, and Report to Thomas (level 7) from Rolf's corpse in the murloc village at Stone Cairn Lake. They are steps 4 and 5 of a chain with 6 steps, so you reach them only through the start of that chain.
Chain starts that are easy to walk past
The 3 givers below hand out a single chain each and nothing more; walk past them and every later step stays out of sight.
A Fishy Peril (level 7) from Remy "Two Times" in Goldshire opens the 6 step chain that the half-eaten body and Rolf's corpse belong to.- Young Lovers (level 5) from Maybell Maclure at the Maclure Vineyards opens a chain of 5 steps.
- Lost Necklace (level 5) from "Auntie" Bernice Stonefield at the Stonefield Farm opens a chain of 4 steps.

Only 2 quests here end outside the zone: Elmore's Task (level 9) is turned in at Stormwind City, and Report to Gryan Stoutmantle (level 9) in Westfall. Both count for Elwynn Forest, so take them before you move on, even if Westfall is your next stop anyway.
